They both are the antagonists of the show. Aiza and Saadi, her brother, always have something to do with all the conspiracies, as they have the blessings of Sarah because they were the children of her late brother and moreover because Taimur was responsible for his death. Zawal, their son, is married to Aiza, who is very beautiful and his cousin too. Sarah, his wife, is the ruler of this family. It is of Taimur Malik, a very rich businessman who loves to travel. The third family belongs to a rich background. Her son, Salman, studies medical and is in love with Parisa. The second family in their neighbourhood is that of Hameedudin’s widow- Salma Bhabhi. She is not really interested in her studies and is a happy-go-lucky kind of person. Taaliya is the youngest and the boldest one. Parisa is the second daughter, who is the most important character of the show. Nighat is the eldest daughter, who has crossed the suitable age of marriage. He has a son, Sami, who even after doing MBA is jobless which eventually results in his frustration making him aggressive. He is very confident and extremely proud of the upbringing of his children, which is done by him.
Their father, Jamiluddin, is a widower and a retired banker who keeps up his dignity by living in a haveli, with his family. The show was about three families and the major characters are of three sisters - Taaliya, Parisa, and Nighat. Mein Hari Piya’s theme song was sung by Sara Raza Khan and composed by Sahir Ali Bagga. It was also telecasted in India, on Zindagi TV, from 22 August 2016. It used to air from Monday to Friday, at 7:25 pm. The cast of the show included Soniya Hussain aka Parisa, Agha Ali aka Zawar, Javeria, Jibran, Zeba, Munawer Saeed, Anum Fayyaz, Ayesha Toor, Fazila Qazi, Yasir Shooro, Mohsin Gilani, Farah Nadeem, Abbas Ali Agha, and Faisal Jameel. Jahanzaib Qamar was the writer for the show. MNM Enterprises produced the show whereas Asad Mallik directed it. Mein Hari Piya belonged to the romantic drama genre.
